Tea towels Heimlifeiss, 1999–2003

The Heimlifeiss tea towel is an everyday article, traditionally manufactured but freshly interpreted. There are no stripes or borders but instead a photographic kitchen snapshot translated into fabric. The possibilities of the jacquard weaving technique allow for a design to be woven over the whole width of the cloth. The white warp and the coloured weft make it possible to obtain shades of grey.
